A year ago today, Steph Curry was in heaven and could do no wrong. He was celebrating a NBA championship with his happy teammates and beautiful family while being showered with Internet compliments as the savage meme creators mocked LeBron James.

On Thursday, exactly 1 year ago from that wonderful day for the Bay, Steph Curry and family experienced hell. Hell in the form of LeBron James putting up 41 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks, including a memorable one on Steph, which was followed by a priceless stare-down.  Hell in the form of whistle-happy refs, who called some very iffy fouls leading to Steph throwing his mouthpiece and hitting a fan – the son of the Cavs minority owner Andrew Forbes – after fouling out. Hell in the form of social media, where his emotional wife got finger happy and tweeted the NBA is “absolutely rigged” causing people on Twitter to go off on her worse than they did on his latest shoes.

Thankfully for Curry, redemption is available on Sunday – Father’s Day – by winning game 7.

In the meantime, let’s relive Curry hell in game 6.
