Carmelo Anthony exploded for 35 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and had the OT game-winner vs the Hornets on Friday but a lot of credit for the victory needs to go to Kristaps Porzingis and his defense. Down by two, late in the 4th quarter, he rejected a dunk attempt by Cody Zeller. Then in overtime, up by two, he rejected a dunk attempt by Frank Kaminsky.
He also had 16 points, including a 3-pointer with 45 seconds left in OT.
