Magic rookie Mario Hezonja had a tough time scoring for 3 quarters during the Magic’s comeback victory against the Rockets on Sunday. Then he scored 11 of his 13 points in the final quarter which included a clutch 3, put back and free throw in the final 25 seconds.
He also almost had a spectacular play in the 4th quarter when he went behind his back to fake out Denzel Livingston and then went up for a layup. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t see K.J. McDaniels and his super hops coming from behind.
Super Mario finished with 13 points (3-10 fg, 2-5 3pt, 5-5 ft), 6 rebounds and 2 steals in his first start for Orlando.
