Whether he’s showing himself getting cozy with the all-grown up girl from iCarly to dunking on unsuspecting people, Detroit’s Andre Drummond has a pretty amusing Vine account but his latest video of a “dunk contest” between rookie Tony Mitchell and coach Rasheed Wallace might be his best Vine video yet.
After Tony, who was just 3 years old when a skinny dunking machine Rasheed entered the league, does a nice windmill reverse off the bounce, Wallace follows it up with a jog to the rim, stop and stretch reverse dunk. The dunk was funny but Rasheed’s classic smile afterwards is what makes Andre’s video so hilarious.
For those as young as Tony that only know of his temper and remember Rasheed as a chubby 3 point shooting big man that was bouncing around teams like Boston and New York after a great career in Portland and Detroit, here’s a video showing how nasty of a dunker the UNC great was.
Tony has some insane hops too. Check out this mix we made of him back in 2012.
