There’s no debate on this one. Every time an “ankle-breaker” is posted and celebrated, a bunch of people will say “that’s not an ankle-breaker.”  On Saturday night, Cory Joseph – who was the victim of a couple of questionable “ankle-breakers” in the past month – gave Beal a spin move which led to Beal ending up one the floor holding his ankles…but that’s what happens when you step on a foot.

That was highlight #1 for Joseph.  #2 came in the final second of the game when he hit a game-winning 3 to give the Raptors the 84-82 victory.

“I knew if I got to him clean, he was going to knock it in,” said DeMar DeRozan. “That’s just Cory. You can trust him with that.”

Joseph also finished with 12 points and 6 assists off the bench.  Beal finished with a team-high 20 points in the game he probably wishes to never hear about again.
