Is that Uncle Drew at the Drew?
Nope. The 40 year old cat with the gentleman grey is none other than former NBA player Cuttino “Cat” Mobley. Mostly known for being 1/2 of the exciting Houton backcourt with Stevie Franchise in the early 00s, Mobley was instant offense and good for 20+ on a nightly basis. His NBA career was cut short by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (same thing the late great Reggie Lewis had) but it hasn’t stopped him from playing ball.
Last summer, Mobley generated some buzz when he surfaced at the Drew League and showed some youngbloods he still had a lot of game in him. And for the past couple of weeks, he’s been doing the same and showing ain’t a damn thing changed.
