We aren’t on the Derrick Rose “He’s Back!” bandwagon and don’t think everything he does right now is “AMAZING” or “REMARKABLE” but we have been driving the fan club bus since his high school days and we were impressed with his aggressiveness and point per minute production against the Pistons last night.

Rose finished with a stat line of 22/2/2 in 22 minutes while hitting 6 of 9 FG, 1-2 3pt & 9-10 FT – that’s impressive. Very impressive considering this was his first game in front of his home crowd fans since April of 2012.  Those fans not only cheered and recorded every move he made but every movement.  I’ll admit he did have some nice moves in the game but I’m reserving “Remarkable, Vintage and Amazing” for plays that look like this…

And yes I do expect to see Rose to pull off some of these explosive moves later in the season and when he does, then I’ll act like the Bull’s game announcer Stacey King, but until then I’m refraining from saying “incredible” and “dazzling” on every Rose play like I was getting paid by Adidas.  Speaking of Adidas be sure to go to and pick up the D Rose 4 shoes for $140 or a personalized pair for $160! 🙂
