After Kobe’s big shot in the Lakers last game, we asked fans who they rather have shooting the last shot in a game right now and the majority of people who didn’t pick Bryant said Damian Lillard.

On Monday night against the Bryant-less Lakers, Damian Lillard scored 39 points – 16 in the 4th – and hit the go-ahead bucket with 36 seconds remaining to give the Blazers a 4 point win.

“I don’t live for it, but I would like us to play with the type of urgency we did for the last eight minutes for the entire game. But when it’s needed, I’m definitely not going to shy away from it,” Lillard said.

“He got hot, definitely, and we didn’t do a good enough job of disrupting him. I’ve got to do a better job of making his life more difficult,” Lin said.
