Most clutch player in the league today. I’ve been saying it all season long and last night against the Kings Damian Lillard was once again hitting big shots in the 4th. He had 6 of his team-high 22 points in the final 80 seconds including a big dunk that Derrick Williams wanted no part of.
The comeback (they were down 11 in the 2nd half) win snapped a 3-game losing streak by the Blazers.
“I thought we did a great job. The pace of the game was good. I thought we fought hard tonight and gave ourselves a chance to win. It’s a disappointing loss, but I’m happy with the effort from the guys,” Kings coach Tyrone Corbin said after his team’s fourth consecutive loss.
“If we play and compete this hard every night, we’ve got a chance.”
