During the pre-game coverage of the NBA double-header on MLK Day, TNT debuted a beautiful and powerful new video for Damian Lillard and Paul Rey’s exceptional life anthem “Bigger Than Us.”

“It touches on a lot of things that are going on around us, stuff that affects everybody,” Lillard told the Oregon Live. “Whether that’s positive or negative, however you want to look at it. It just kind of raises awareness, let’s us know that it’s right there in our faces happening. It’s only facts. It’s not disrespectful. It’s not overly aggressive. It’s just facts.”

“Everything in life. Mike Brown. A lot of stuff that’s going on around the country. Racism. The issues that come up in the news. Reporters getting shot up. Stuff like that.”

Proud Lillard fans also got to see him and the Blazers pull out a 108-98 win against John Wall and the Wizards today.  Lillard finished with 16 points and 6 assists while Wall had just 9 points (4 of 17 shooting) and 10 assists.
