On Friday night, the Lakers got their first win of the season! Rookie D’Angelo “may or not be dating Kendall Jenner” Russell scored a career-high 16 points on 6 of 9 shooting. And Russell had the move of the night when he dropped Jarret Jack and hit a jumper…sort of. Russell did hit a jumper after a nice behind the back move on Jack but what really dropped Jack was a screen by Julius Randle.
Regardless of how Jack ended up on the floor, the Lakers finally gave fans a reason to get up.
“Dinner will taste a whole lot better tonight than it has the last four games,” Scott said. “I don’t know if it’s relief. I just feel good that we came out and did the things that we’ve been talking about for the past six, eight weeks.”
As for Nets fans, they probably feel how Jack felt after this play as they are still waiting on their first win of the season.
