“The great thing about him is he wants to take the shot,” said Thad Matta about freshman D’Angelo Russell. “He doesn’t remember the last shot. He says, ‘Hey, give me the next one.’ And I love that about him.”

There is a lot to love about him but if you are a North Carolina fan then the odds are you hate him now. During the 2nd half of Ohio State’s 82-74 loss to North Carolina, Russell got away with a NBA worthy flop and then celebrated on the ground with his mash-up of the bankhead bounce and sprinkler dance which probably would have got him a tech in the NBA.

Russell finished the game with 11 points (4-17 fg) 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.
