These basketball players throwing first pitches at a baseball game videos usually don’t turn into embarrassing moments for the players but that wasn’t the case for D’Angelo Russell.  The #2 pick of the Lakers showed up to Dodger Stadium (with a nice $2k Louis Vuitton backpack) and threw a pretty good first pitch.

He also talked to LakersNation about checking this off his bucket list and Laker’ fans being spoiled. Just kidding about the spoiled part but he did recently say that about some fans when he was clarifying his tweet about T-Mac earlier in the summer.

“There’s a lot of spoiled Lakers fans. I wasn’t downgrading Kobe at all,” Russell told Los Angeles News Group. “I was just watching a highlight tape of Tracy McGrady and I got excited. I tweeted and the whole state of California went crazy.”
