The power of Twitter in the hands of people with money. I’m not putting down Danny Granger at all for his wise use Twitter. If I was going to do that I would mention his use of Twitter when he was with Team USA and made a tweet about hygiene and dead donkeys. I’m actually kind of jealous and think Granger might of just started a trend that I wish I could participate in.
On September 21st, Granger tweeted out that he would buy a person at the Keystone Mall an Iphone5 if they were willing to stand in line to buy him one.
Like Javale McGee’s Chipotle tweet, he got a lot of retweets but wasn’t flooded with responses…
but eventually found a taker
Granger got his phone and some customer who was willing to stand in line anyways just got a free Iphone and met Danny Granger. What would of been funny is if Iman Shumpert did this and then did his dunk test.
Don’t be surprised to start seeing more athletes posting requests such as picking up food, buying gadgets or scouting women via Twitter now.
