With the Spurs shooting only 35% in GM4, they had plenty of opportunities for offensive boards and putbacks.  Danny Green, who was awful from downtown (2-9) was able to catch one of these missed shots and Steph Curry with the most quiet putback dunk ever.  It wasn’t quiet because the Golden State fans were so loud, it was quiet because of how gentle the dunk was.  Usually when you hear “posterizes” and “putback dunk” you picture some type of retro Shaq dunk or Blake Griffin on Gasol dunk but this putback dunk by Green felt more soft and  airy than the Mother’s Day cake I was eating yesterday.

I’m not “hating” on Green, I’m just saying he’s a gentle dunker.  Take a look at his dunk on John Wall this season.  Sounds nasty but looks not so nasty.
