DeMar DeRozan scored the first two points of the night against the Nets on a jumper and that was the story for the rest of the night.  DeMar personally outscored the Nets 9-2 in the first few minutes of the game and stayed on fire for the remaining quarters.

He finished the game with 36 which was 1 point shy of his career high.  The most impressive  part of DeMar’s 36 is that most of his points came off an assortment of jumpers including 3 of 4 from downtown and all 9 of his free throw attempts.  One of those 3 pointers was a clutch 3 with 2 minutes left that sealed the win.

He did a heck of a job of letting the game come to him and reading the game, he was very efficient with his shots and using the screens. He’s just grown in every aspect offensively that you could ask for.”
