The Kings survived a double OT thriller against the Suns without DeMarcus Cousins who fouled out in the final minute of regulation. Up to that point, Boogie was once again a dominant force with 25 pints and a season-high 18 rebounds.

Cousins is often criticized for being immature but he was mature and smart enough to not only keep his cool after fouling out but he grabbed his coach and prevented Malone from picking up a tech when he was about to go after the refs for the bad call.

“It shows you how our team is coming together,” Cousins said. “Even through the tough times and adversity, even when things aren’t going our way, we found a way.”

The maturation of Boogie is in effect!
