The Pacers could have used injured center Ian Mahinmi last night but I’m not sure he would have made much of a difference.  Boogie Cousins came into Saturday’s game with 8 30+ point games in his last 11 and left the game with a career-high 48 points.  He was 17 of 29 from the floor but missed 7 of his 20 free throw attempts in the 108-97 victory for the Kings.

That feeling of almost scoring 50 after a night of a bunch of missed free throws is a feeling Shaquille O’Neal knows well. I can’t even recall how many times Shaq had 40+ in a game and also missed 10+ free throws.  Oh well, it’s a career-high, they got the W and Booge, like Shaq, knows how it feels to be the most dominant big man in the league.

Boogie also knows how it feels to get a real hard hug from teammate Omri Casspi…

Casspi was like “you ain’t leaving me hanging.”
