Have you heard the latest breaking trade news/rumor: Some people aka Coach George Karl wouldn’t mind seeing DeMarcus Cousins traded.  That’s the not so shocking (and possibly not so true) story reported by Howard Beck of B/R.

“Sacramento, I think, wants to hold onto him. Certainly the owner Vivek Ranadive absolutely wants to hold onto DeMarcus Cousins. But I’ve been told if you polled the rest of the organization, the vast majority are in favor of trading DeMarcus Cousins and that would include, though he denies it, coach George Karl.”

Boogie, via Twitter, had this response to the noise.

Minority owner Vlade Divac, who earlier in the year raved about Boogie by saying he has more talent than Shaq. and Kings owner Ranadive also took to Twitter to show their love for Cousins like a cousin.

I guess “the marathon continues” and to quote Boogie’s best ever response to trade rumors and noise: How you gonna stop God’s plan?

So in the meantime between this rumor and when the season starts with Cousins wearing a Kings’ jersey, let’s revisit him giving out back-to-school supplies to hundreds of kids and almost dropping 100 points in Eric Bledsoe’s charity game.
