Don’t mess with DeMarcus Cousins…or his manager. During the 3rd quarter of the Kings win over the Rockets, Boogie’s manager, Andrew Rogers, slapped at Jason Terry when Terry put his hand on Rogers to stop himself from running into him. The Jet then turned around and threw up his signature gang signs. I’m kidding, but he did turn around and had a few words with Rogers before being taken away by the Rockets staff.
“I don’t know what happened. I didn’t hear anything or see anything. That’s all there is.” said an annoyed Terry after the loss.
Rogers was ejected for the “altercation” and another fan sitting near him was ejected later in the game.
“It just shows I’ve got some ride or dies.” said a joking Cousins who had 26 and 12 on the night.
Rockets interim coach JB Bickerstaff wasn’t so light about the situation.
“One of those guys put their hands on Jason Terry,” Bickerstaff said. “If they don’t want ‘Jet’ to react … then you need to get those guys out of here. Just because players are on the court, it doesn’t give the fans the right to say things and put their hands on them. … They pay for their tickets but they can’t put their hands on players when they step on the court.”
