It’s been a tough December for DeMarcus Cousins. Actually it’s been a tough start to the season. Might was well make it a year for DMC.

From OJ Mayo saying he has mental issues to getting ejected for dunking on people to his off the court confrontation with Sean Elliot to the Team USA practices where he was called out for being immature  to his recent interview that he walked out on to being suspended by the team for reasons not totally known although we do know that DMC has refused to seek counseling for depression despite multiple requests by the Kings organization.

Lucky for Cousins, the team owners reinstated him last night against the wishes of coach Keith Smart and GM Geoff Petrie and the result was the first triple double of his career which also surprisingly came with 10 assist and not 10 blocks.

This really is a constantly developing and escalating tragic story to a career that I feel has greatness potential to it.  Hopefully Cousins will one day get it together and not only be the best big man in the game today but be the man coaches and teammates want to play the game with today.

Here’s a mixtape of DMC’s Christmas Mixtape.  Nice on the court but naughty off.
