Knicks fans got to see a little vintage D Rose against the Pelicans on Friday night as Rose racked up his fourth 20+ point game in his past five and had a throwback moment in the 2nd quarter, when he threw down a dunk over Anthony Davis (1:00 mark in above video). Unfortunately, thanks to Noah, the dunk was waived off.

Two minutes later, Rose crossed Jrue Holiday and then threw down another dunk and this time Noah wasn’t in the game to screw up the highlight.

Unfortunately, we are talking about the Knicks and they did screw up the game in a 18-point 3rd quarter and ended up losing their 3rd straight game.

“I don’t even want to talk about offense,” Rose said after g. “If we came out and played defense I think it would be a totally different game. I mean, we’re giving them everything — 3-point line, pull-ups — I mean, whatever they want.”

Jrue Holiday got some revenge at the end of the 2nd quarter for being in the Rose crossover + dunk play by crossing Porzingis and then dunking on him.
