The top 2 assists of the night nominees both belong to Derrick Rose who played a season-high 32 minutes in a win against the Pistons.

The first came off of a crossover on Josh Smith and the 2nd was a mid-air fake and then pass to Joakim Noah.

“He was confident out there and he was just playing his style of basketball, which was good for us because he’s so fast and he’s getting out in transition, getting guys layups and dunks,” said Jimmy Butler. “Then he’s stepping up and making big shots. It’s always a plus to have him on your team.”

Rose finished the game with 24 points (9-20 fg), 7 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 highlight worthy assists.
