One night after being named to the NBA All-Star team for the first time in his career, Kemba Walker scored 31 points, grabbed 10 boards, dished out 5 assists and gave Knicks fans a couple of scary Derrick Rose moments. The first came in the first quarter when he dropped Rose to one-knee with a crossover (push-off?) move. Rose was just fine from this play but tweaked his ankle in the 3rd quarter after landing on Walker’s foot.
Rose left the game with 13 points and 4 assists in 22 minutes. The good news is the Knicks went on to win the game and Rose’s ankle is reportedly “not serious.”
