Derrick Rose missed 20 shots including 8 3-pointers! He had only 1 assist but 11 turnovers! He attempted 0 free throws! But he was the hero of the game when he hit a game-winning jumper in OT to end the Warriors 19-game home winning streak.
“Anybody can get momentum or anybody can get the feeling they can beat anybody when you beat a team like this,” Rose said after scoring a team-high 30 points – the the third time this season Rose has scored 30+.
“We feel comfortable with Derrick taking responsibility in those moments,” Pau Gasol said. “He definitely doesn’t hide and he’s very aggressive.”
Rose became just the 2nd player in history to miss 20 shots and turn the ball over 10 times but unlike Jason Kidd, Rose came away with a victory.
