Maybe the NBA dunk contest gave Derrick Williams some confidence and the trade rumors fueled Michael Beasley or maybe it’s because Kevin Love left the game early with a rib injury but Williams & Beasley went off last night in a win against the Clippers scoring 27 each. For Williams, the 27 points against Blake Griffin was a career high. He hit 9-10 shots including 4 3 pointers. He also became the first player in NBA history to shoot 90 percent from the floor and 100 percent from downtown and the free throw line in a game.
Everything looks better in slow motion and watching Williams in the dunk contest John Woo style is no exception. Enjoy.
