While most of the Phoenix Suns threw their hands in the air after Mirza Teletovic hit a game-winning prayer, 19 year old rookie Devin Booker used his hands to pay homage to Drake by doing the viral ‘Hotline Bling” dance.’
“It’s in the moment, man,” said Booker, who knows Drake from his playing days at Kentucky. “Drake’s my guy. We were just in Toronto recently. He looked out for me. Drake’s a good guy. He’s like a big brother to me. I just kind of showed him some love on that.”
Besides hijacking the spotlight from Mirza in his own video, the league’s youngest player also had a nice game with 14 points, career-high 5 assists, 3 boards and 3 3-pointers in a season-high 33 minutes.
