Karl Anthony-Towns only had one block during his 18 and 10 performance in the Wolves buzzer-beating win over the Suns on Tuesday night, but I’m sure that (vicious) 3rd quarter block was a little satisfying since it came against his friend and fellow Kentucky Wildcat Devin Booker.
Booker struggled with his shot (9 for 23) for most of the night but I think that rejection lit a fire in him because he scored 13 (5 for 6 shooting) of his team-high 26 points in the 4th quarter. The 26 marks his 10th consecutive game with 20+ points and with the exception of the first game of the 2017 calendar year, Booker has scored over 20 in every game this year and that includes back-to-back career-high 39 point games.
