Former Nuggets star center pulls ball away from mascot, does famous finger-wag in Rocky’s direction afterward.

Dikembe Mutombo still won’t be dunked on.

The former Denver Nuggets All-Star center was honored at halftime of Tuesday night’s game and was at his finger-wagging best, especially in a moment with Rocky, the team’s mascot.

All smiles and playing to the crowd, Mutombo gave the fans one more great defensive play, albeit in a different style than during his playing career.

Finger Wave

Dikembe Mutombo says ‘No, no, no!’ wagging his finger for the cameras at halftime of the Nuggets-Clippers game in Denver Monday, where he also plays a trick on the taem’s mascot ‘Rocky.’

Standing near the basket and holding a ball the Rocky was preparing to dunk off a trampoline, Mutombo snatched the ball away at the final moment and turned to give the defeated lion his famous finger-wag.

Mutombo, you may remember, starred in a Geico Insurance commercial last year which heavily featured his signature move.

Even mascots arenot allowed to stuff it in the house of Mutombo.
