Check out the Heat’s Dion Waiters and new Clipper Lou Williams showing off their shooting range during a recent open run held by NBA trainer Chuck Ellis at LaSalle University. Waiters’ teammate Wayne Ellington and Brandon Austin — who once scored 91 points in a charity game — also participated in the run.
Waiters is coming off a career-best season — which included a red-hot February that saw the Heat go 8-3 and barely miss the playoffs — and after reading his Players Tribune article ‘“The NBA Is Lucky I’m Home Doing Damn Articles” I’m rooting for him to stay healthy during year two in South Beach and play as great as he thinks he is.
