There were so many great moments during last night’s entertaining draft that it’s hard to pick a favorite but this awkward silence ranks near the top.

ESPN’s Shelley Smith interviewed Clippers coach Doc Rivers on live TV and asked him about known Celtics’ fan Bill Simmon’s allegation that Doc quit on the Celtics.  Doc replied by saying “I would like to call him an idiot but I’m too classy for that.”

When ESPN switched back to the draft crew there was a long awkward moment of silence before Bill starting ranting about “the truth.”

Doc River’s son, Jeremiah, wasn’t as calm as Dad when he went off on Bill via a series of tweets.
