Ballislife | Kevin Durant & Michael Beasley at Watts

Summer really is serious for Kevin Durant.  In the past few weeks we have seen KD score 63 at the Jamal Crawford Pro-Am, Coach in the Nike Summer Is Serious game, host a basketball camp, compete in the Drew League and appear on Justin Bieber’s Instagram page.

Last night, Kevin played in the Watts Basketball League Championship game, scored 45 and walked away with a win and the MVP award.  Teammate Bobby Maze had 30 and Michael Beasley showed and scored 15 for the Supreme Team.  Jeff Allen of The Troublemakers scored 27 in the loss.

The Watts league also gives out awards to the best team nicknames and here’s a few of the best ones: 40 year old Virgin-Rebels, Wild Bill-Paradise and King Juffy Joffer-Lob City.
