Dwight Howard recently sat down for an interview with Orlando Sentinel’s Josh Robbins and to no surprise said some head scratching worthy comments.

The topic that will upset most people is when he talked about how upset he was when the Orlando Magic let Tobias Harris wear his number 12. What he probably didn’t know was that the Orlando Magic doesn’t retire numbers (except for the #6 which represents the fans) and that’s why they allowed T-Mac to wear Penny Hardaway’s number.  He also didn’t know that Harris wanted to wear that number in honor of a friend that died of leukemia. If he did, i’m positive he would not have had an issue.

The most bizarre part of the interview is when he said he thinks his Rockets squad is similar to his 2008/09 Magic squad that went to the finals.  That doesn’t sound so bizarre until you hear him say James Harden is like Courtney Lee, Parsons is Hedo, Patrick Beverley is Skip to My Lou Alston and Jeremy Lin is…..Anthony Johnson!

Well, Dwight and his updated version of Courtney, Hedo, Rafer and Anthony took on the very different looking Orlando Magic last night and although he didn’t score much in his limited 18 minutes, Dwight did remind Jameer Nelson and the Magic what they probably miss the most about #12.

Courtney Lee 2.0 also put up an impressive 21 points in his 18 minutes of action!
