When a former #1 pick has a chance to posterize or embarrass the last #1 pick you would think they would take advantage of it. Dwight had that opportunity and somehow blew it by missing a dunk over #1 pick Anthony Davis. I don’t want to be too critical of Dwight right now because he’s playing fairly well and the Lakers have won their last 3 games but I can’t understand how he only had 4 rebounds in 37 minutes last night and also had a 2 and 9 rebound game in the past week. Then again, the team has Steve Nash and one of the best scorers of all-time is putting up Nash numbers in the assist department.
If Earl Clark needs to be the team’s best rebounder and Kobe needs to be the team’s leader in assist to win games then more power to them and their new roles.
