Howard sucks. Howard sucks.

Everybody last night was chanting “Howard sucks” even Dwight Howard.   The chanting started 45 minutes before the game, through the introductions, after every easy point Dwight had while being guarded by Kaman and even on the team plane by his Rocket teammates.

Lucky for Kaman and the Lakers, who really do suck, they only had to deal with the “sucky” Howard for 28 minutes in their 26 point loss.  In those limited minutes, Dwight had 20 points and 13 rebounds and a dunk on Kaman that the refs unfairly gave him a tech for.

“I think it was more emotion than anything,” Howard said. “I don’t know if the ref thought I was talking to Kaman, but one of my friends was sitting courtside and I was just looking at him and having some fun. It wasn’t nothing toward the Lakers or any of their guys. I was just talking trash to one of my friends.”

Up by 22 in the 3rd quarter, Howard joined in with the bitter crowd and began to chant Howard Sucks with them.

Dwight and his teammates continued to chant with the crowd in the 4th quarter from the bench and it kept going even on the team plane.
