It was a good day for Dwight Howard. His Rockets got a win, he put everybody’s favorite rookie on a poster and heard Kobe Bryant was retiring.
The Porzingis poster came at the start of OT as Howard caught an oop and gave the rookie the DeAndre Jordan on Brandon Knight treatment. Not shown in the video is Howard (14 points & 6 rebounds) missing the free throw and then Kristaps Porzingis responding with a shot of his own. But in the end, the Rockets pulled out a 116-111 victory.
Despite getting put on a poster, Porzingis had another great line with 20 points (8-13 fg), 13 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal.
