You can blame James Harden for this. Up by 3 with less than 20 seconds left in Heat & Rockets game, Harden made a really risky pass to Dwight Howard that lead to an in-air collision between Superman and the Dark Knight. Dwight’s elbow ended up hitting LeBron in the face and re-broke his nose.
The collision was the ultimate blow to a horrible 4th quarter for James. LeBron went scoreless and reboundless in the final quarter and missed a desperation 3 over Dwight Howard at the buzzer.
“I fought through it in the first half. Second half, it just wasn’t there for me,” James said. “Got out of rhythm.”
