Washed up right (I don’t care if you dislike this comment because I said it on Twitter and his lovely wife, Gabrielle Union, liked it)?
I know it’s just a preseason, but seeing 35-year old Dwyane Wade throw down a baseline reverse dunk and frighten Sabonis on his way to 20 points against the Pacers on Friday was satisfying. In just 22 minutes, the third best shooting guard of all-time put up a game-high 20 points in 22 minutes on 10 of 14 shooting (because he stayed away from the three-point line).
After the game, Wade seemed equally shocked about the vintage dunk.
“I don’t know what happened. It was an out-of-body-experience. Felt good tho.”
