The commentator picked the perfect time to say “Tony Allen is in the game to guard Dwyane Wade.” Right after he said that during the 4th quarter, Dwyane Wade almost dropped Tony “1st Team All-Defense” Allen to the ground with a crossover and then scored his 3rd straight field goal.
Allen tried to get some payback a minute later when he dropped Wade to the ground with an intentional looking trip. After a review by the refs, Allen was called for a flagrant foul.
Wade finished the game with 19 points, 5 rebound and 5 assists but the Heat lost 90-99 – thanks to 7 points in OT by this guy.
