The trade deadline passed and almost disappointed basketball fans as much as the NBA dunk contest did a few days ago.  That’s not saying a few teams didn’t come out as winners but with all the hype around potential moves involving Josh Smith and the Nets begging teams to take the package of Kris Humphries and Marshon Brooks, we did get a little of that feeling we got watching Gerald Green spend 2 minutes trying to pull off a dunk that required him to cut the net which required another couple of minutes to replace.
