Russell Westbrook’s 3rd quarter slam against the Clippers was so impressive, even Clippers owner Steve Ballmer had to smile and clap, after the initial shock of the dunk.
As much as he enjoyed that play by Beastbrook, he probably didn’t care to see him go off for 35 points including a clutch jumper with 18 seconds left in the game.
“That’s the only way I know how to get it,” Said Westbrook, who also had 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 10 turnovers. “Nothing was ever given to me growing up, and I always had to find ways to get it. … I play every game like it’s my last. I play every game the same, always, like I’ve been saying for years. Regardless of who we play, I’m going to play the same way.”
