I have no freaking clue who FakeLife is but I have a feeling my 7 year old daughter might because this sounds like the type of music I would find on her music playlists. The only reason I’m posting this is because it’s not everyday you see a pop band make a video with lots of retro Jordan jerseys and footage of his Finals game winner against the Jazz. There’s even a Reebok pump cameo.
I do like the concept and wish I could do a remix. My wishlist for cameos includes Anthony Mason, Harold Miner, Kendall Gill, JR Rider, Vin Baker, Gheorghe Muresan and Eric Montross. As for the music I’m going with the D.I.T.C supergroup that included Lord Finesse, OC, Buckwild, AG, Showbiz, Diamond D, Fat Joe and the late Big L. If they aren’t available then I want to reunite The Firm with Dr Dre, Nas, AZ, Nature, Foxy Brown and allow Cormega back in the group. Instead of NBA jerseys the clothing will be provided by Karl Kani and Cross Colors.
Speaking of the rapper and the NBA in the 90s, here’s a cool video with some interesting soundbytes such as Charles Oakley saying he listens to Shaq’s music and doubts Ewing does amd Karl Malone saying he wishes the Jazz played rap music.
