Before Michael had Pippen and a decade before JR Rider “created” the Eastbay funk dunk, there was the late Orlando Woolridge who died earlier this year at the age of 52.
Back in 1986, Orlando left MJ & the Bulls because the NBA would only allow one ball to be used during games, and took his high flying talents (and substance abuse issues) to the NJ Nets. His talents were on full display in this exciting game against the 76ers led by the round mound of rebound who went after every board like a fat kid going for the last cookie in a jar.
A few years later, the two faced off again when the Nuggets came to town. Orlando had a good game with 36 points but Barkley would dominate with 40 points 22 rebounds and 8 dunks.
