One of the my favorite things to look for every NBA season is the “Annual Rim Inspection By Gerald Green.” Sometimes the 9-Fingered Assassin does it in practice, sometimes it’s in a game, sometimes it’s in a dunk contest. On Thursday, he did it in the fourth quarter of a televised victory and was kind of enough to show Mason Plumlee how he does his job.
What I want to know is how is he capable of jumping like this 12 years after his first day on the job? Mason Plumlee was just a 14-year old kid when Green threw down his first head-above-the-rim dunk in the league.
