Earlier this summer we posted pics of a more muscular Giannis Antetokounmp and his physical growth since his rookie season. Here’s the even freakier looking 20 year old Greek Freak showing off his athleticism with a couple of blocks (no surprise) and range with 3 3-pointers in a friendly international game against Bosnia this weekend.
Giannis was 0 for 1 in his previous game against the Czech Republic but did manage to hit all 5 of his 2 point field goals, grab 2 boards, two steals and 2 blocks in just 12 minutes of PT.
Although it would be nice to see Giannis become more of a 3-point threat, if he doesn’t, he can still make layups…from near the 3-point line!
A day after he lost to Zach LaVine in the 2015 NBA dunk contest, Giannis told me a dunk idea he has that involves the 3-point line. I wont give it away but hopefully we get to see it at this upcoming season’s All-Star weekend if he participates in the dunk contest again. And it’s only a matter of time until we start seeing Giannis attending the weekend as an All-Star… a freaky All-Star who can cover the entire court with 2 dribbles.
