Gilbert Arenas has been one of the most fun athletes to follow this summer. Whether he was showing off his sick handles in reverse, getting slapped by his wife, playing practical jokes, playing in the Drew League, playing in China or talking about how he could beat Michael Jordan 5-2 in a game of 1-on-1, the athlete formerly known as Hibachi and Agent Double Zero might be getting a second chance to entertain us in the NBA with an invite to the Clipper training camp.
I’m hearing that Gilbert Arenas has looked good in workouts this summer. The Clippers may invite him to training camp, according to sources. – Alex Kennedy | HoopsWorld
The 31 year old Arenas hasn’t played in the NBA since a very forgettable stint with the Grizzlies in 2011-12 but I think the ex NBA star can still shine by contributing to a back court that already has MVP contender Chris Paul, 6th Man of the Year contender Jamal Crawford, Willie Green and Darren Collison.
Check out Gilbert’s last game against the Clippers which included a nice fake on Eric Bledsoe before scoring on a layup.
