Gilbert Arenas’ sad six minute debut in China ends with an injury

Everyday it seems we have news and highlights about Tmac’s adventures in China but what we don’t hear about is Tmac’s ex Adidas mate and elite NBA scorer Gilbert Arenas who is “playing” for the Shanghai Sharks.   He made his debut back on November 24th but left the game with a groin injury just six minutes into the game that he didn’t seem to interested in playing anyways.

The player formerly known as Agent Zero was “lackadasical during pre game warmups and the layup line” and when the game started he seemed happy to just wander around the 3 point waiting for open shots.  He did sink his one and only attempt from downtown but I guess he thought that was enough.

The Sharks lost by almost 20 to Marbury’s Ducks but that doesn’t sound bad to the loss of approx $700k to sign Arenas for a season.  Maybe they just need to take Vanilla Ice’s advice.
