Playing before crowds in excess of 7,000 fans, quick 6’6 senior guard/forward Glenn “Trey” Robinson III and big 6’8 sophomore Tyler Wideman took care of business at Gary Indiana’s West Side High School gym, winning Lake Central’s first sectional title since 1997.
The oldest son of Glen “Big Dog” Robinson (former #1 NBA draft pick) will be a Michigan Wolverine next season.
Indiana’s Lake Central High School (21-2) has now won 13 in a row and is still competing for a state title.
