If you just watch this video of pissed off coach Illias Papatheodorou (awesome last name), it looks like he strikes one of his players in the face.  But both the coach of the Greece U18 team and the player, Antonis Koniaris, stated that no contact was made.

Via Sportando:
“Following the video which is circulating on Internet I must clarify that I would never hit a player, especially a child of 18 years. My hand did move in the air for the irritation but I did not slap anyone. My witness is the athlete,” said Ilias Papatheodorou.

“I must clarify that the coach did not hit me,” said Koniaris. “This is the truth”

How disappointing. I was hoping for some Tunisian drama or another Dusko Vujosevic.

Even a play slap like the one Kevin Ollie gave one of his players.
