I remember when Brandon Roy retired and I thought we were cheated of a decade of allstar games but hearing that Greg “Benjamin Button” Oden who has only played 82 games since becoming the #1 pick in 2007 is undergoing his 4th knee surgery I started thinking that this guy might be better off retiring.   Imagine that.  #1 pick retiring after only playing the equivalent of 1 season with a career average of 9.4pts and 7.3 rebounds.
